The FEI Board met via videoconference on 17 February.
The key decisions concerning international dressage sport have been summarised below.

FEI Championships & FEI-Named Events

• FEI Dressage European Championship U25 2021*

The Board approved the allocation of these Championships to Hagen (GER) to take place in conjunction with the FEI Dressage European Championships for Seniors on 8 – 12 September 2021.


FEI Rules, Covid-19 Related Resolutions & FEI Calendar
We have outlined below the Resolutions and Decisions made by the FEI Board. For all Covid-19 related Resolutions, these are being added to the Covid-19 hub under Resolutions & Decisions and all updated Rules will be published shortly in the FEI Rules hub.

We would like to highlight the two Emergency Board Resolutions – General Regulations Article 132.1 and FEI Dressage Rules Annex 7 – whereby NFs have until 18 March 2021 to signify their disapproval by sending an email to Francisco P. Lima, Director Governance & Institutional Affairs.

Multi-Disciplinary
• General Regulations Exception – Article 132.1
Emergency Board Resolution
The Board approved an exception to Article 132.1 of the FEI General Regulations until further notice. According to this exception, which applies to all Disciplines, the FEI Headquarters shall have the flexibility to reduce the minimum number of accreditations required under this Article.


Dressage
• Exception to FEI Dressage Rules – Annex 7
Emergency Board Resolution
The Board approved an exception to the FEI Dressage Rules regarding qualification for CDI5* for the 2021 Calendar season whereby an “Athlete/Horse combination must have achieved a minimum of sixty four percent (64%) in Grand Prix at two (2) different CDI3/CDI4/CDI-W or CDIO3* /CDIO4* (Consolation Competitions do not count) after 01 January the previous year 2019.”
