Following the two year separation forced by Covid the International Dressage Trainers Club is very pleased to announce the re-instatement of their annual Practical Members Meeting.

The meeting will be held jointly with the International Dressage Riders Club as the two clubs come together to discuss, explore and exchange ideas about their shared passion. The theme ofthe meeting is Horse Welfare and What it Means to YOU. It will take place at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen a. T.W. on October 17 and 18. 2022

 

This meeting promises to be both stimulating and informative, topics include:
                                                    Horse Welfare and the Future of Dressage

                                                     Horse Sport and the IOC - a View from the Inside

                                                     Welfare in the Warm-up-Practicalities and Perceptions

                                                     Therapy Equipment- Promises and Porkies

                                                     Judge Education and Governance and the role of the JAG

                                                     Technologically Assisted Judging - The Future for Transparency &
                                                    Accuracy

In addition there will be practical demonstrations:
                                                    Training for Longevity lead by Klaus Balkenhol ,

                                                     Reflections on 50 years of Breeding- Ulli Kasselmann

                                                     Riders & Trainers in the Hot Seat with Live Spectator Judging
